• Q: Does it hurt?
  A: The short answer is "yes". How much depends on where the tattoo is, how big it is, and how well you tolerate pain. We've seen 18 year old girls sit through huge tattoos without breaking a sweat. We've also seen grown men cry over small ones. But as the Marines say, "Pain is just weakness leaving the body".
• Q: How much does a tattoo cost?
  A: Prices are $125.00 per hour for all artists except Damon Conklin, who's rate is $175.00 per hour. The shop minimum is $60.00
• Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
  A: Cash, cash, or cash. Sorry, no credit cards. There are several ATM's conveniently located within a block of the shop.
• Q: Do I need an appointment?
  A: Walk-in's are always welcome at SuperGenius. Often, you can come in, pick a design and get tattooed that very day. However, if you have a custom design that will need to be sketched, or if all our artists are booked with appointments, you'll have to wait. That's why it's a good idea to schedule a consultation.
• Q: How long does a tattoo take to heal?
  A: It typically takes about 2 weeks for a tattoo to fully heal if you take care of it.
• Q: How do I take care of my tattoo?
  A: Every artist has a different opinion on tattoo aftercare. Generally speaking, if you keep it clean, stay out of the sun and the hot-tub, and keep it moist with unscented lotion during the healing process, it should heal just fine. Once the tattoo has fully healed, use a good SPF 30 sunblock any time you are out in the sun (this includes tanning beds).
• Q: Do I need to bring in my own design?
  A: No. SuperGenius has an extensive collection of tattoo flash (pre-made designs), and a huge library of reference books. If you already know what you want, bring in a photo, a drawing, a cocktail napkin, or whatever you got, and one of our artists will be happy to design a custom piece for you.
